Chalk Dinosaur (Pittsburgh, PA) features a fusion of electronic dance music, funk and psychedelic rock. It has distinctive melodic themes coupled with a heavy rhythm section and augmented with synthesizers and electronic textures. The live shows are characterized by high energy and emotional diversity.

Chalk Dinosaur was founded in 2008 as the artist project of Pittsburgh music producer John O'Hallaron, and is known for it’s colorfully diverse and prolific songwriting. Over the years, Chalk Dinosaur has released 25 albums and EP’s, ranging from indie and surf rock to psychedelic rock, electronic dance music, funk, and jam. Some albums are instrumental and some are vocally centered. Some are solo recording projects, while others are collaborative albums featuring the full band.

Live performances take several forms. Chalk Dinosaur mainly performs as a duo and sometimes as a quartet with each form having a different repertoire. The 4-piece leans more funk and jam, and the duo leans more towards electronic dance. Both incorporate the foundation of funky grooves and distinctive melodies.

Members of the live band include John O’Hallaron (guitar, keys, vocals, electronics), Nick O'Hallaron (drums), Jon Henderson (guitar), and Michael Berger (bass).

Unapologetically contrarian — an insurgent of authenticity — Hoge takes the helm on this new showcase where he breaks new ground by producing and playing every instrument himself. Born and raised in West Virginia, Philip Bowen’s uplifting sound is heavily inspired by Appalachian roots. The dynamic, internationally touring singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist began playing fiddle at the age of four, & his virtuoso skills have become quite popular, with over 1.5 Million followers online. His popularity on socials even propelled him to win TikTok’s Greatest Talent competition, beating out thousands of other competitors. Charly Reynolds, a magnetic 24-year-old singer-songwriter hailing from the sunshine state of Florida, is carving out her niche in country music. Her latest release, "Love You Long," stands as one of her most poignant and authentic tracks yet, recently gaining spotlight placement on Spotify's New Music Nashville playlist (add others here) among others. This emotive piece marks the first of five singles set to precede her eagerly anticipated debut full-length album, slated for release later this year. Reynolds' rendition of "Neon Moon" made waves when it featured in the Season 5 finale of FOX's gripping medical drama, THE RESIDENT, subsequently unveiled as a standalone single in late October. She has shared the stage with artists such as Maddie & Tae, Walker Hayes, Lainey Wilson, Elle King, Brett Eldridge and others. Reynolds will be returning to Forefront Productions' Live In The Vineyard Goes Country this April, joining the likes of Sara Evans, Rodney Atkins, Scotty McCreery, Ernest, and more.
